Can this kit be administered by anyone?
No, this test kit can only be administered by a certified medic. The swabbing process is the most important process to the end result and if not administered correctly test could have a false result.
How long do I have to wait to receive my results?
Test can be administered in approximately 3 – 5 minutes and patient will receive results in between 15-20 min.
How accurate is the result?
The test has a sensitivity of 96.52% and a specificity of 99.68%, based on 426 samples from two independent study centres.
This is a screening process, result may vary on many factors according to the patient’s health.
If screening result is positive do I need to carry out any further tests?
Yes you would need to take the Government swab test as that is the only official most accurate test currently available.
